Hi 34th District Friends!
I've lived in West Seattle for over 30 years. I believe in causing good trouble. I support progressive values. My special interests are health and human services, support for foster care youth, trauma-informed care and survivor services, and vulnerable elderly and disabled.

Stuff that Has Nothing to do with Politics!
Who Am I?
Dedicated public servant for 28 years, including 18 years at the federal Department of Health & Human Services. Several years specializing in emergency preparedness and response, including responding to Hurricanes Katrina, Sandy, Gustav/Ike, etc. and working on behalf of issues related to children and families.
Avid union supporter: Served as union steward and chapter president, NTEU Chapter 215
Caregiver to my mother for four years: huge advocate for elder and disabled services, home care workers and caregivers.
Press secretary and legislative aide to Democratic elected officials in the U.S. House and Senate in D..C. for 10 years. Familiar with the legislative process and constituent services.
Outdoor Lover: Member of Washington Trails Association for over 20 years and several other environmental organizations.
The current incumbent has been a fine representative for the past 16 years, but I think it's time for a new generation of leadership, right?
Think Bernie Sanders for the 34th!
